Rocscience does not share information with any third parties without gaining permission first. All articles, research papers, web links, references to other companies or quotations from customers appear on our website with the prior knowledge and permission of the company or individual named.

Rocscience Internet Updates:
By default, all Rocscience programs that run in Windows now check the Rocscience website (via the Internet) when they start to make sure users are running the latest version. For example, if you start Dips 5.05, and Dips 5.06 is available, you will be automatically notified that a new version is available. This is done as a convenience for our customers, so Rocscience users can be assured they are always running the latest version available.
During the entire update process, no personal information, identifying information, or serial numbers are sent. The only information that is sent from your computer to the Rocscience website is the program name and the version number. For example, "Dips_5.07".
If you want to disable this feature, go into the program and un-check the following option:
Help->Product Updates->Check for Updates Automatically
If you disable this feature, you should periodically check the Rocscience website to make sure you are running the latest version.
