Ungroup Joint Network

When you create a joint network, all joint boundaries in the network are considered as a single modeling entity. It is not possible to edit individual boundaries in a joint network.

If you wish to edit individual boundaries in a joint network, you must first ungroup the joint network.

To ungroup a joint network:

  1. Select Ungroup Joint Network from the Joint Networks submenu of the Boundaries menu.

  2. Use the mouse to click on any joint boundary in a network. All boundaries in the network will be highlighted.

  3. Press Enter or right-click and select Done Selection, and the selected joint network(s) will be ungrouped.

This will convert all joint boundaries in the network into individual, independent joint boundaries which can then be edited using the regular boundary editing options in Phase2 (e.g. delete boundary, move boundary). After you ungroup a joint network, you can delete, move or change the properties of individual joint boundaries.
