Rocscience hires several students each year to work with our engineers on software development. This summer, we welcomed two excellent students, Franco Chingcuanco from the University of Toronto, and Tushar Verma, from IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Roorkee, India.
 
A Hydroconsolidation (Collapse) Case History using Settle3D shows how engineers used the hydroconsolidation-modeling capabilities of this software to estimate settlements at a semi-rural site located in southern California. The results were found to compare well with site observations.
