  12th IACMAG Conference, Goa, India, October 1 - 6

International Association for Computer Methods & Advances in Geomechanics (IACMAG) The theme of this conference, Geomechanics in the Emerging Social & Technological Age, will address recent developments in computer methods, constitutive models and applications to different areas of geomechanics, with the presentation of documented case studies with integration theory, laboratory and field tests, and validation procedures.   AEG Rock Slope Analysis & Design Short Course, April 20 - 21

The Sacramento Section of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG) presented the Advanced Rock Slope Stability Workshop, which was open to 60 professionals from both the public and private sectors. Funds raised from this seminar will go towards section events, professional development programs, and local academic scholarships for students in the geosciences.
